Dr. Fatma Adel
Fatma Adel is a Counsel at Alliance Law, heading the Competition and Distribution Law Department. She has immense experience in the Egyptian Competition Law, as well as the EU, US, France and COMESA relevant competition laws and regulations.
She advises international and local clients on all competition law matters, including complex local and cross-border mergers & acquisitions clearance, competition investigations and dawn raids, legal opinions, competition litigation, private enforcement, and competition compliance & training programs. She also advises clients on distribution matters, including distribution agreements, establishing distribution networks, franchise agreements, pricing policies, as well as ensuring compliance with the competition law rules and regulations.
Before joining Alliance Law, Fatma worked at the Egyptian Competition Authority for 12 years. Her last position was the legal advisor to the Chairman for Competition Law Policy, where she provided guidance, managed the cases and studies in the Authority, and acted as a strong advocate for competition.
