Adel Fahim, the Vice President and Executive Assistant of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB), the President of the African Federation of Bodybuilding, the Arab Federation of Bodybuilding (AFBB) and the Egyptian Federation of Bodybuilding (EFBB), in the appeal arbitration proceeding held before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), in Lausanne, Switzerland, under no. ‘CAS 2018/A/5545 Adel Fahim El Sayed Sallem v. Yasser Abdel Karim Ali’ against one of the firsts arbitral awards rendered by the Egyptian Sport Settlement and Arbitration Centre established by virtue of the new Egyptian Sport Law no. 71 of 2017. The firm has successfully secured an award in favor of Dr. Eng. Adel Fahim by setting aside the first instance award rendered against him, in Egypt, as well as successfully obtaining the exequatur from the Egyptian courts to enforce the CAS award in Egypt.
