It has participated in forming the Feed-In Tariff program and the Benban Solar Farm project as launched by the Egyptian Government in 2014, as the firm has advised a considerable number of local and foreign investors who were awarded allocation projects. Since then, the Firm has been advising clients on renewable energy projects particularly in the areas of solar energy, wind energy, green hydrogen, bioenergy, waste management and water desalination.      

We have significant experience in drafting and negotiating project agreements, power purchase agreements (PPAs), usufruct agreements, cost sharing, wheeling, direct agreements, net metering agreements and network connection agreements.

The Firm further advises on the regulatory and licensing of such projects as well as represent clients before banks and international financial institutions in relation to financing renewable energy and clean energy projects.
