Who is Didier Ferrier
Professor Didier Ferrier was a renowned legal scholar and a pioneer in the fields of distribution law and business law. As a distinguished professor at the University of Montpellier, he dedicated his life to advancing legal education and mentoring future generations of jurists. His expertise and passion transcended borders, as he shared his knowledge through lectures, publications, and collaborations around the world, including Cairo.
Throughout his career, Professor Didier Ferrier extended a helping hand to many Egyptian jurists, opening doors to futures they sometimes dared not even imagine. Thanks to his constant commitment and the affection he held for his former Egyptian students, many of them were welcomed into master’s or doctoral programs under his supervision, enabling them to achieve professional excellence both in Egypt and internationally. He paved the way for a whole generation of jurists, guiding them in their choices and supporting them through challenges. His decisive influence changed lives, empowering these Egyptian jurists to carry forward the values of excellence he embodied.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be law students at the École de Droit de la Sorbonne au Caire, Egypt, and Egyptian nationals.
- Admitted to a Master 2 Law program in France.
- Not receiving other scholarships.
Benefits:
- Tuition fees covered.
- Monthly living allowance.
- Round-trip airfare and visa fee reimbursement.
